explain

I met with Professor Seamus Garvey (24 Sep 2007) to discuss his plans for "energy storage".

To cut a long story short, it involves storing compressed air in giant "bags" about 500m under the sea, then releasing the air as needed to generate electricity. So what if one of these giant bags bursts? Well, Seamus said the outcome would be an "instant iceberg".

As the air pressure and temperature dropped dramatically, an iceberg would result!

Obviously such a rupture would be a disaster for all involved, but I still think the idea of an instant iceberg is pretty cool!
