Lisa Yon's pet dog Gabby has had such a remarkable journey, it was a story I had to share with a wider audience... and my editors agreed.

So wearing my hat as a BBC video journalist, I visited Lisa and filmed this rather non-scientific story about the troubles she was having finding a "dog friendly home"!

This is the film which appeared on BBC East Midlands Today. A number of people have since been in touch offering to rent a home to Lisa (and Gabby), so stay tuned for an update.
