Andrew works with the conservation science team at the Tate art gallery.

He's researching how light affects the pigments in paintings with the aim of finding better ways to display precious artworks.

He's also starting his second year of work towards a PhD at Nottingham Trent University.

The video above contains a few snippets from my first meeting with him and, fittingly for his area of research, poor Andrew had some bright sunlight blinding him for much of the interview!
