David was one of the scientists who responded to my call for volunteers. His reply was quite funny and interesting.
But I was always going to choose him simply because his name is David Scott - same as my favourite astronaut.
David Scott (the astronaut) was the commander of Apollo 15, the first lunar mission to take science extremely seriously.
David Scott (the University of Nottingham scientist) is doing some advanced protein biochemistry which I'm yet to get my head around.
But he has lots happening over the next 12 months and I think he'll be an interesting man to follow. |
