Prudence Mutowo's a Zimbabwean student studying at the University of Nottingham. She's currently writing her PhD thesis under the supervision of Dave Scott, another scientist being filmed for this project.

Prudence is looking into organisms in which protein and salt bind despite the salty conditions (such as in the Dead Sea).

But Prudence also has strong views on women in science, often writing and speaking on the topic. This film captures some highlights of my first interview with Prudence, including how she deals with miserable English weather.
