Don't tell anyone, but I sneaked across the border into Derbyshire for this one!

I was filming Dr Andrew Johnson from the University of Derby for another project, but found his work so interesting I couldn't resist getting some extra interview footage and popping it on here!

His area of research is sclerochronology, which put simply is the equivalent of studying the rings in trees, but replace tress with sea shells!

This information's being used to learn about changes in Earth's climate millions of years ago.
